About Our Group

Our Worldwide Ssales team builds relationships to understand and meet the unique needs of our customers. They led our customers through the sales process from contract to delivery. 

About the Role 

The ideal candidate will have prior experience interfacing with Gulfstream's Worldwide Sales organization and/or supporting the aircraft delivery process. Specialist selected for this role will be working very closely with our customer and multiple stakeholders. 


 

 

Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or a related curriculum or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 4 years Contracts administration or related experience. Advanced degree in related field may offset one year of experience requirement.

Individual contributor role in the Worldwide Sales Contracts team.

Job Description

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:
  1. Contracts management/administration for Gulfstream’s worldwide sales business .
  2. Provide guidance to others to ensure compliance in the proposal, negotiation, administration and other contract related activities .
  3. Build customer relationships and know customer needs and issues .
  4. Negotiate proposals within business goals, documenting substance of discussions, agreements and results .
  5. Analyze significant, and/or unique contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, Gulfstream policies and procedures .
  6. Provide contractual and other business agreement guidance to internal management, including Sales Regional Vice Presidents and Completions leaders, and Finance .
  7. In accordance with approved processes and procedures, prepare assigned contractual documents as assigned and/or as requested .
  8. Proactively assist in developing and implementing new/improving existing policies and practices to address changing internal and external contracting requirements .

Additional Functions:
  1. Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding contract issues, audits, and compliance requirements .
  2. Manage FAA aircraft delivery and title transfer to customers .
  3. Mentor and train less experienced team members .
  4. Participate in the development and negotiation of NDAs and other collaborative agreements, as necessary .
  5. Travel as required. .

Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements:
  1. Contracts Management experience in commercial contracts.
  2. Proven ability to take an entrepreneurial approach and demonstrated negotiation skills, in successfully closing on a variety of Commercial endeavors.
  3. Must interact effectively with all levels of internal and external customers.
  4. International contracts experience a plus.
  5. Ability to multi-task and prioritize and close actions before deadlines as required.
  6. Must be proficient in MS tool set.
