Job Description
- Responsible for the routine maintenance of all vehicles and trailers within any facility and for ensuring preventive maintenance program is established for each vehicle and trailer within the CMMS System .
- Coordinate routine inspections and services required. to meet DOT compliance for all vehicles and trailers that are considered a part of the DOT compliance program .
- Communicate to all sites any service or inspection criteria changes required. for the fleet and update CMMS System to reflect all changes .
- Responsible for the Fuel Management Program to include all key card activations and reporting required. of fuel management system .
- Develop annualized vehicle replacement strategy for the sites to include comprehensive justification for replacement .
- Responsible for the administration of the Gulfstream commercial motor vehicle driver’s program and the quality of documents sent to the Driver’s record management company .
- Add new driver information and obtain records required. for DOT Compliance Program .
- Perform Annual review of all DOT driver records to ensure quality and updated information is up to date in driver record management .
- Assist in the transportation and movement of equipment across the Savannah campus for GSE and tooling as required. to support operational needs .
- Monitor all DOT compliance requirement changes and communicate across sites as needed with any applicable changes .
- Administer service contracts to ensure that services are provided in compliance with policies, procedures, regulations and contractual obligations and standards .
- Complete all Motor Carrier reports needed to maintain compliance for each US DOT number assigned to Gulfstream .
- Develop and provide routine reporting that assist in the overall management of the Gulfstream Vehicle/DOT/CMW program .
- Develop all outside vendor contracts and services required. to efficiently perform maintenance and inspections on the overall Gulfstream Fleet .
- Ensure all vehicle accident repairs are serviced in accordance with Gulfstream’s insurance requirements .
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with all aspects of facilities.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance operations of advanced equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Considerable knowledge of MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and IBM (Maximo).
