Job Description
- Develop technical bulletin content by interpreting engineering drawings and data.
- Conduct reviews and analyze technical documents to gain a thorough understanding of how complex systems operate and how they are to be integrated into technical documentation to provide the end user with the level of data to support the change or update of the aircraft system.
- Consult with internal, external customers and Engineering groups to create/revise technical documents to support the department/corporate operating priorities.
- Provide input to management on new processes or technology for integration into the Technical Bulletin business model.
- Assist in developing solutions for overcoming the technology/technical issues introduced by outside suppliers for incorporation into existing manuals.
- Work with management, other departments, and team members in the development of specific project data.
- Liaison with all engineering groups and teams (SBMT, CBMT, SPMT and PCMT) to obtain the necessary approval for technical information prior to its release to customers.
- Participate with Technical Information team to ensure all internal department workflows and business processes are followed for issues relating to producing, sharing and delivering technical data.
- Support Customer forums such as: Customer Advisory Board, Operators Conference, NBAA, RQAAT, PSBs and Studio G events, as required.
- Actively engage in CIO, Organizational, EIP, and Contact Center goals to achieve stated objectives.
- Through the use of Lean methodology, identify & implement improvements to internal processes that will improve group efficiency and effectiveness.
- Re-enforce customer satisfaction, identify areas of customer frustration, and resolve issues and be an advocate for the customer.
- Conceive, develop, test, and evaluate new ways to improve the technical support effort.
- Advanced knowledge of all aircraft systems methodology.
- Strong understanding of computer applications including the use of standard computer word processing programs.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprint and Engineering drawings and data.
- Must have thorough knowledge of aircraft systems, troubleshooting, technical manuals systems, and aircraft maintenance records system.
