This is a Summer in person internship, that you must work full time 40 hours a week for at least 12 weeks from May/June - August/September 2024.

This position will be posted until 10/13/2023, and interviews will start in November. 

Engineering intern students at Gulfstream Aerospace in Innovation, Engineering and Flight are considered to be an integral part of the Engineering staff, and as such, are provided with tasks that are both technically challenging and educationally stimulating.

We are looking for all levels of educational experience, from undergrad, masters and PHD candidates who are seeking professional experience in an engineering environment.

Education and Experience Requirements

1. Must be actively pursuing bachelor's degree and above in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Process Engineering or related degree. 
2. To be considered as an intern, applicants must plan to graduate from their current academic program any time after August 2024 or have plan to continue their education in the Fall (ie. bachelors to masters). 
3. Minimum 3.0 cumulative gpa at the time of application is required and must be listed on the submitted resume. GPA must remain above a 3.0 through the Spring semester for Summer 2024 internship. Transcripts will be checked and we do not average transfer credits from one institution to another.
   1. If you are a freshman, please list your high school gpa.
4. Ability to convey technical concepts in both written and verbal formats
5. Strong interpersonal skills
6. Display maturity and a high level of professionalism
7. Proven leadership skills on-campus or in a previous work atmosphere
8. Previous internship experience a plus
9. Must have reliable transportation to and from work for the duration of the internship
10. Must be available to work in person full time for at least 12 weeks during the months of May/June - August/September 2024
