Education / Experience Required:
- Minimum of Bachelors degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering required.

Minimum 10 years aircraft structures Design, MRB/Liaison, or Service experience at a recognized airframe manufacturer.
- Dedicated MRB/Liaison experience desired and considered a plus.
- Experience should be primarily with the creation and justification of engineering dispositions for non-conformances for pressurized and non-pressurized, metallic and non-metallic detail parts and assemblies for fuselage, wing, or empennage components.
- Capability to rapidly design repairs based on equivalent strength/stiffness of surrounding structure while in a schedule-driven environment.
- Experience with managing multiple engineering issues on different aircraft and prioritizing as required to meet production schedules.
- Experience should be in a Production and/or schedule driven environment.
- Must be computer literate (such as, but not limited to, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Catia V5, Smarteam, Solumina). Ability to model parts in Catia a plus.
- Strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Weekday 1st shift (4-10 hr days). Occasional weekend overtime required.
Job Summary:
- Design, analyze and disposition repairs for structural nonconformances in a timely manner to restore model/blueprint design integrity.
- Adhere to company MRB Engineering and QA procedures.
- Interact with inspectors, shop technicians, other engineering disciplines, and management as required, providing support, prepare engineering dispositions, discussing RCCA, etc.
- Maintains a current and up-to-date knowledge of developments in aircraft structures to recommend innovations to improve the quality, economy, and effectiveness of company products and processes.
- Weekday shift (4-10 hrs days). Occasional weekend overtime may be required.
