Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's Degree required. Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or technology related field preferred. 8 years experience in network engineering strategy, architecture, design, and implementation as applied to complex computing systems.

Position Purpose:

This role will oversee multi-discipline architecture and data governance team and board using best practices designs, deployment, technology standards and lifecycles. Act as the leader to ensure that all technology solutions align with business requirements and value. The role requires significant negotiation and communication ability across business technology groups to assess and align with business and technology strategy.

Job Description

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:
  1. Strategic technology thinker and leader. Lead development and implementation of architecture and data strategy, vision and guiding principles across the entire organization. .
  2. Oversee Enterprise Architecture Board to ensure strong and agile solutions are aligned with business requirements and best practice designs. .
  3. Oversee technical planning, system integration, verification, validation, cost, risk, supportability, and effectiveness analyses for technologies.
  4. Manage development of budget estimates, approval of expenditures, and prioritize technology investments.
  5. Facilitate effective communication between executive management, business, consumers and IT management to ensure efficient approach to IT solution implementation.
  6. Lead indirect team through architecture transformation and architecture board maturity. .
  7. Manage team of solution engineers, architects and anaylsts to provide business valued technology solutions. .
  8. Engage with customers to understand requirements and desired outcomes.
  9. Review nonfunctional specifications for validity.
  10. Facilitate innovation and orchestrate business valued outcomes.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements:
  1. Deep understanding of IT architecture and its domains and components.
  2. Significant knowledge of solution engineering, architecture, design lifecycle, CMMI build lifecycle, testing methods, team dynamics, operational readiness.
  3. Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion.
  4. Demonstrated commitment to customer-focused and team-oriented management.
  5. Soft skills and technical skills that contribute to client satisfaction.
  6. Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, planning, and decision making skills.
  7. TOGAF Certification desired.
  8. Knowledge of new technology trends and models.
