Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's Degree related field required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 4 years progressively responsible related HR experience. Other CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) preferred.

Position Purpose:

Working independently, develops and implements sound corporate programs through surveys, labor market studies, and analysis of salary/industry trends. Performs data analysis and job evaluations to ensure internal and external equity and fair and equitable implementation of compensation programs corporate wide. Responsible for understanding a wide range of technical compensation principles, theories and concepts that contribute to the development of the organization goals and objectives. Applies continuous improvement initiatives to support the overall business strategy.

Job Description

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:
  1. Coordinates with Compensation Manager on the development, coordination, and administration of companywide incentive and pay increase programs for all sites. Develops project plan deliverables.
  2. Conducts studies and prepare reports, which include recommendations for long-range compensation administration and planning for the corporation. Conducts custom surveys and reports findings to management.
  3. Assists Compensation Manager in developing skills of other analysts in the completion of special projects, studies, and new programs.
  4. Utilizes market/survey data to impact recruitment of talent, and to improve administration of related compensation programs.
  5. Develops effective compensation communications.
  6. Develops, implements, and monitors compensation procedures, practices, and programs.
  7. Reviews and recommends changes to compensation policies. Provides guidance to supervisors and managers on interpretation and implementation of corporate salary policies and practices. Responsible for building a business case to support change. Ensures consistent interpretation of these policies and advises and assists departments/functions with compensation related issues. .
  8. Assists with the development of the domestic and international corporate annual pay increase budget and guidelines. Interprets local, state, and federal laws regulating salary practices to ensure company policies are in compliance. Conducts internal audits as appropriate.
  9. Reviews employee data integrity issues to ensure they are within published compensation guidelines. This includes adjustments to salary based on merit, promotion or equity actions.
  10. Establishes and maintains favorable working relationships within all Gulfstream departments to assist in effectively achieving corporate objectives.

Other Requirements:
  1. Requires strong verbal, written, analytical and presentation skills.
  2. Highly skilled in PC applications, such as Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Word required.
