Spring 2024 - Human Factors Intern  in  GAC Savannah


Unique Skills:

This is a Spring in person internship, that you must work 40 hours a week for at least 14 weeks from January - April 2024.

 

This position will be posted until 10/13, and interviews will start in November. 

Engineering intern students at Gulfstream Aerospace in Innovation, Engineering and Flight are considered to be an integral part of the Engineering staff, and as such, are provided with tasks that are both technically challenging and educationally stimulating.

 

We are looking for all levels of educational experience, from undergrad, masters and PHD candidates who are seeking professional experience in an engineering environment.

Education and Experience Requirements

  1. Must be actively pursuing Bachelors degree and above in Psychology, Human Factors, Engineering Psychology, Industrial Engineering, or related degree. 
  2. Have some prior aviation experience or indicate an interest in pursuing a career in avaition.
  3. To be considered as an intern, applicants must plan to graduate from their current academic program any time after May 2024 or have plan to continue their education in the Summer (ie. bachelors to masters). 
  4. Minimum 3.0 cumulative gpa at the time of application is required and must be listed on the submitted resume. GPA must remain above a 3.0 through the Fall semester for Spring 2024 internship. Transcripts will be checked and we do not average transfer credits from one institution to another.
    1. If you are a freshman, please list your high school gpa.
  5. Ability to convey technical concepts in both written and verbal formats
  6. Strong interpersonal skills
  7. Display maturity and a high level of professionalism
  8. Proven leadership skills on-campus or in a previous work atmosphere
  9. Previous internship experience a plus
  10. Must have reliable transportation to and from work for the duration of the internship
  11. Must be available to work full time in person during the months of January - April 2024 for at least 14 weeks
