Service Engineering Stress Analyst Tech Spec III in GAC Savannah
Unique Skills:
The following unique skills are required: | |||||
1) A fundamental understanding of static stress analysis and Fatigue and Damage Tolerance as it relates to sizing airframe structural repairs | |||||
2) The ability to effectively work with and support a multi-discipline team of engineers, mechanics, Tech Ops, Quality Control, upper management, etc. | |||||
3) Strong written and verbal communication and collaborative skills and the ability to effectively communicate the organization’s position with external and internal customers | |||||
4) Experience as a stress analyst in Maintenance Repair and Overhaul environment as a delegated MRB/QSE stress engineer | |||||
5)Experience with Catia V5 Model based design and FEM interrogarion | |||||
6) Candidate must be willing to train and work to earn ODA Unit Member delegation in static stress, MRA and metallic FDT to meet the needs of Gulfstream's Customer Support network. 7) Gulfstream In service engineering experience on GIV/GV/G650 /G500 / G600 / G700 / G800 |

- Acts independently to determine improved methods and/or procedures to optimize technical product, cost and schedule requirements .
- Works under consultative direction; uses independent judgment to accomplish objectives .
- Develops standards and guides for diverse engineering activities .
- Conceives and plans investigation of broad areas of importance for which engineering precedents are lacking in areas critical to the program .
- Advanced degree in engineering or related curriculum preferred.
- The level of technical skill and abilities appropriate for this grade will be established by each discipline.
