Service Engineering Stress Analyst Tech Spec II ( Evenings) in GAC Savannah
Unique Skills:
This position is a M-F second shift position
The following unique skills are required:
1) A fundamental understanding of static stress analysis as it relates to sizing airframe structural repairs
2) Experience as a stress analyst in post-production environment or a production MRB stress engineer
3) The ability to effectively work with and support a multidiscipline team of engineers, mechanics, Tech Ops, Quality Control, upper management, etc.
4) Strong written and verbal communication and collaborative skills and the ability to effectively communicate the organization’s position with external and internal customers
5) Practical hands on aircraft experience and problem solving
6) Candidate must be a self starter capable of managing and working with competing priorities.
7) working knowledge of in-service aircraft manuals (AMM, IPC, SRM, etc.) is required
8) Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to effectively communicate the company position with external and internal customers.
The following unique skills are preferred:
1) Gulfstream engineering experience, e.g. G650, G500, G600.
2) Experience in fatigue analysis and damage tolerance analysis.
3) Experience in the repair and analysis of composite structure
4) Experience in repair and analysis of aircraft landing gear.
5) Experience in development of structural repair manual (SRM) data.
6) Experience with airworthiness regulations in regards to major repairs or alterations of external airframe parts and components and the requirements to find compliance
when analyzing a repair
7) Experience with foreign airworthiness regulatory agencies

- Advanced degree in engineering, or related curriculum preferred.
- The level of technical skill and abilities appropriate for this grade will be established by each discipline.
