Service Center Assistant Program Manager in  GAC Savannah

Experience with developing and managing integrated schedules, Well versed with MS projects. Project management experience.

Education and Experience Requirements:


Bachelor's Degree Engineering/Finance or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Five (5) years A/C design, manufacturing or service and support. One (1) year Program management experience consisting of any combination of supv exp, complex prog mgmt, and/or technical exp.

Position Purpose:
Assist in planning, organizing and managing company and supplier resources to meet assigned program cost and schedule milestones. Assist in development of production, completion and program master and integrated schedules. Responsibilities include assisting in program management of all development, test, certification, licensing/patents, product support, quality, reliability and availability and entry into service activities.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions: 1. Analyzes program certification schedule and performance targets/guarantee progress. 2. Develops draft Master Schedules for Production and Completion A/C deliveries and site distribution, for R&D and new A/C development progras or Product Support Refurbishment. 3. Analyzes budgets to ensure lot cost targets and/or desired savings/revenue are achieved. 4. Administers program configuration control activities and develops/updates product specifications 5. Monitors quality, reliability and availability issues to ensure top drivers are identified and resolved. 6. Manages day to day implementation of fleet retrofit programs to achieve quality, reliability and availability targets/goals.

Additional Functions: 1. Supports Program Office Intranet Web site to maintain Technical and Program updates. 2. Support supplier design and program reviews to insure program deliverables, schedules and budgets are met. Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements: 1. Requires a comprehensive knowledge of Aircraft Industry Production, Engineering, Quality, Completion, Material and Service Support Operations. 2. Requires a detailed understanding of Program/Project Management processes and procedures and an intimate understanding of in service A/C operations.
