What You Will Do
- Perform Quality Control inspections on aircraft and components to ensure compliance with FAA/CAA requirements
- Inspect aircraft, engines, and component repairs and alterations to ensure conformity to approved/acceptable data
- Ensure aircraft and components are airworthy and safe prior to all flight test activities
- Coordinate mechanical, electrical, and inspection requirements during maintenance, modification, and outfitting
- Conduct audits of maintenance documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and readiness for return to service
- Maintain accurate, neat, and legible records of all work performed
- Partner with Records Technical Services (RTS) to ensure timely and accurate aircraft documentation
- Mentor technicians on proper documentation practices and quality standards
- Provide technical guidance and support to inspection personnel in meeting regulatory requirements
- Communicate with leadership to align on work assignments and delivery schedules
What You Will Bring
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 8 years of aviation maintenance experience (avionics, electrical, and/or mechanical)
- 2 years of Gulfstream aircraft experience and 2 years of aircraft inspection experience
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license required
- At least 3 years of inspection experience on fixed-wing aircraft
- Strong knowledge of inspection and maintenance procedures across aircraft systems
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, shop math, and QC procedures
- Working knowledge of Quality Assurance and Quality Control systems and methodologies
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

- Responsible for Quality Control inspections on aircraft/components .
- Completes inspections of aircraft, engine, and component repairs and alterations to ensure conformity to FAA approved/acceptable data .
- Coordinates mechanical, electrical and inspection requirements on the aircraft during maintenance or outfitting .
- Keeps accurate, neat and legible records of the work performed on aircraft/components .
- Coordinates throughout assigned jobs with RTS to ensure accurate aircraft records are produced in a timely manner .
- Conducts audits of maintenance documentation for accuracy and completion on all aircraft prior to approval for return to service .
- Ensures aircraft/components are airworthy prior to any flight activities .
- Mentors technicians on effective documentation .
- Communicates with management as required. to identify work assignments and delivery schedules .
- Provides technical support to inspection personnel in supporting the FAA and/or CAA documented requirements .
- Strong computer skills.
- Knowledge of inspection and maintenance procedures for various aircraft models and systems.
- Knowledge of pertinent technical reference materials.
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation, shop mathematics and QC Procedures.
- Working knowledge and application of Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control systems and methodologies.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
