Senior Administrative Associate - Experimental Test and M&P in GAC Savannah
Unique Skills:
- Reporting to the Director - Supporting both Experimental Test and M&P Teams
- Location - Teams in RDC II, IV, Building Z and Experimental Test
- Office in experimental test and RDCIV
- Familiarization with all Microsoft Office Products (OneNote, Word, Excel, TEAMS, etc)
- Preparing, organizing and storing information in paper and digital form.
- Dealing with queries on the phone and by email.
- Ordering IT hardware/software
- Greeting visitors at reception.
- Managing daily activities, scheduling meetings, booking rooms and answering phones.
- Arranging travel and accommodation
- Arranging post and deliveries
- Updating computer records using a database
- Printing and photocopying
- Ordering office and breakroom supplies
- Liaising with suppliers and contractors
- Liaising with staff in other departments, e.g. finance, HR
- Purchase card (p-card) approved and assist with purchasing miscellaneous supplies
- Larger than normal requirement for the test lab
- Work with SharePoint administrators to help develop sites/capabilities
- Developing Organization charts
- Manage visitor parking
- Building access
- Motor vehicle requests
- Training coordinator
Education and Experience Requirements
Job Description
- Performs a wide range of administrative support duties as required, including but not limited to using word processing and advanced spreadsheet applications on a PC, filing, directing phone and in-person requests for information, preparation of internal correspondence, schedule and travel coordination, mail processing, and departmental meeting support.
- Accomplishes specific departmental responsibilities in accordance with published departmental work instructions. Maintains department procedures and work instructions.
- Works with specialized software applications to develop controls and reports for the department, division or company.
- Participates in the administrative preparation and tracking of departmental budget, annual objectives and strategic planning efforts.
- Participates in departmental or cross-functional teams as appropriate.
- Assist in procedure development as required. Takes appropriate action when non-conformances are identified.
- Maintain accurate records as required.
- Acts in a safe manner and seeks to ensure the safety of others in the immediate work environment.
- Performs a wide range of special projects as assigned.
