SAP Integration Senior Manager in  GAC Savannah


Unique Skills:

This position is for the Senior Manager responsible for the OTC (Order To Cash) and Finance workstreams.  The primary application is SAP and extensive functional experience in SAP is required.  Expert knowledge in the following modules is preferred: FI, CO, SD as well as with the BPC SAP tool.  Hybris & AGILE experience is a plus.  Emphasis on employee management and development is a requisite. 

 

Note: Work schedules are flexible and a hybrid work schedule with a blend of on premise and remote work is a commonly selected option.


 

 

Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or relevant curriculum required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 12 years of experience as an IT professional with broad experience across multiple IT disciplines which includes six (6) years specific ERP development / deployment experience. 4 years of experience leading professional employees. Master's Degree may be used to offset one (1) year of experience; PhD may offset two (2) years of experience.

Position Purpose:

This is a direct management role within the Gulfstream Business Technology organization for the ERP team. Responsible for functional workstream performance by ensuring deliverables are prioritized and delivered to agreed schedule and budget. This role is also responsible for budgeting, hiring / termination, employee development, employee reviews, and project management as required.

Job Description

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:
  1. Engages stakeholders and technology users in identifying, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.
  2. Oversee ERP solution delivery by managing functional and technical design across multiple workstreams.
  3. Provide the solution leadership and staff mentorship for the implementation team. Delivers solution capabilities (processes, integration, data migration, and custom development) by leveraging product knowledge and expertise.
  4. Determines goals, timelines, budgets, staffing requirements and allotment of applications resources.
  5. Communicates performance expectations, salary administration, and conducts performance appraisals.
  6. Delegates tasks and/or responsibilities to team members for action according to their level of experience and assigned accountability.
  7. Demonstrated understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies (SDLC).
  8. Ensures applications processes are followed consistently and are in compliance with applicable policies, procedures, standards, etc.
  9. Works with programming resources (in house and third party) to ensure development work is completed to specifications.
  10. Assists in the preparation and review of Statements of Work (SOW) describing project scope, deliverables, assumptions, and estimated costs. Ensures the SOW meets the expectations of the business.
  11. Assists with the development of work breakdown structures, project plans, and skills required. to develop and implement applications.

Additional Functions:
  1. Excellent interpersonal skills (e.g. listening, coaching, facilitating, tact/diplomacy, employee relations, development, motivation, team building). .
  2. Provide thought leadership to key business leaders on business process designs to leverage world class process and current technology options for transformational business change. .
  3. Consults with business unit mgmt and reviews proposals to determine goals, timeline, budget, procedures, staffing requirements and assignment of resources. .
  4. Conducts briefings and participates in technical meetings concerning specific projects or other activities. .
  5. Ability to lead/facilitate cross-functional teams and meetings. .

Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements:
  1. Business knowledge of Aircraft Industry Production, Engineering, Quality, Material & Service and Support operations preferred.
  2. Proven ability to lead teams through complex solution design and delivery process.
  3. Specific and in-depth expertise in one or more complex enterprise applications (e.g. ERP, PLM).
