Unique Skills
Responsible for aircraft configuration and discrepancy data analysis in support of certification project and conformed certification testing. Experience in aircraft manufacturing engineering; configuration control; developmental certification projects helpful. Ability to utilize multiple data systems and review large data sets to make decisions on impact to test requirements. Strong ability to interpret aircraft type design data in comparison to as built aircraft. Coordinate resolution of issues discovered with multiple departments. High degree of competency in both verbal and written communication.

Job Description
- Coordinates article & aircraft certification activities to program schedule and milestones.
- Manages and manipulates large data sets to make determinations on certification and conformity compliance to support aircraft airworthiness and testing.
- Prepares and/or reviews data packages prior to submission in accordance with ODA/FAA requirements.
- Performs data evaluations, interrogation and draws conclusions about data integrity between electronic systems.
- Identifies and evaluates effect of abnormal data trends and anomalies, works with internal and external organizations to drive resolution and permanent process changes.
- Coordinates quality enhancements on processes and procedures related to certification and conformity for internal organizations; planning, quality, manufacturing.
- Coordinates teams and projects to find permanent solutions to quality system deficiencies.
- Provides technical guidance and direction to subordinate level personnel. Oversees completion of assigned tasks of subordinate level personnel assigned to the functional groups.
- Actively supports corporate initiative in resource sustainability and business continuity. .
- Promotes, encourages and supports continuous improvement culture. .
- An Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license is not required. but may be used in combination with four (4) years of related quality experience (in addition to the experience requirements below) to offset the Bachelors degree.
- ASQ certification (CQE) and/or experience as a FAA recognized airworthiness designee highly preferred.
- Current/prior authorizations as an FAA IAR/DMIR/ODAR or DAR is preferred.
- A&P license preferred.
- Understands and is able to apply and communicate to others: blueprints/specifications, Federal Aviation Regulations, Quality Control System Requirements.
- Computer literate-capable of working within the various software applications utilized throughout the corporation.
