Education and Experience Requirements:

 

Bachelor's Degree in a related field required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Advanced degree preferred. 8 years relevant aviation experience preferably in aircraft completions or program management to include two (2) years experience managing professional level associates or program/process management.


Position Purpose:
Provides leadership, guidance and oversight to a customer facing team accountable for new aircraft outfitting projects that carry the customer from sales through delivery.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions: 1. Provide day to day leadership monitoring work in process to ensure compliance with the outfitting definition process 2. Translate mission requirements and outfitting preferences into a Completion Package consistent with product offerings and regulatory requirements. 3. Present and explain essential steps within the outfitting definition process to prospects and customers establishing key milestones and requirements for a timely customer response. 4. Initiate and monitor preparation of the Completion Package to be used as the basis for engineering, constructing and delivering the completed aircraft ensuring contractual integrity. 5. Work with finance to develop accurate, timely quotations and pricing that meet profit objectives. 6. Execute signature approval of the completion package in accordance of established project timeline. 7. Follow the aircraft completion to ensure fidelity of the finished product to the approved completion package. 8. Support the new aircraft sales group with professional presentations, outfitting proposals and technical guidance. Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements: 1. Ability to professionally articulate and consultatively sell avionics, cabin configurations, systems and outfitting options. 2. Ability to guide customers through the outfitting definition process in a manner than minimizes exceptions, maintains schedule and maximizes profitability. 3. Current working knowledge of applicable FAA, EASA, CAAC and other civil aviation authority regulations and certification requirements and familiarity with international certification requirements as applicable to aircraft outfitting. 4. Broad overall knowledge of aircraft systems. 5. Willing and able to travel extensively worldwide.
