Lab Test Software Engineer - TS II in GAC Savannah

Seeking an individual to join the Lab Test Software Engineering team. This small team develops and supports different applications within the Lab Test environment to help end-users test more effectively and efficiently. An ideal candidate has the desire and motivation to learn new technology with a strong programming background and can develop well written code. Our team develops tools and interfaces that solve many unique problems that are specific to the Lab Test environment. This team works in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and therefore requires an individual that can shift their tasks based on these moving priorities. This team works hand in hand with Lab Test Engineers and Automation engineers to ensure the most effective and efficient testing is provided to our customers.

- Advanced proficiency in Python
- Pytest framework
- Python based servers
- React javascript front end applications
- C++ application development
- Basic linux
- Full-stack experience building web applications
- Mongo
- Flask web API development
- React web frontend development
- Microsoft DevOps along with GIT and SVN code repositories
- Linux operating systems
- Wireshark network traffic analysis
- Experience writing communication interfaces for distributed applications (TCP, UDP, publish-subscribe models)
- Experience with unit testing, code reviews
- ScrumMaster certified for Agile Software Development
- Knowledge Aerospace Testing and/or Aircraft Protocols (Arinc 429, 664)
