Gulfstream is seeking a motivated and technically curious individual to join our integration development team. This position will support the development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of APIs and integrations using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. The Developer I will work alongside senior developers, designers, business analysts, and architects to build secure, reliable, and scalable integrations between cloud and on-premise applications.This role provides an excellent opportunity to build technical expertise in API development, enterprise integrations, MuleSoft technologies, and modern software development practices while supporting critical business applications.
Desired Skills
The ideal candidate will possess one or more of the following:
- Academic, internship, or professional experience with software development.
- Exposure to APIs, system integrations, or automation technologies.
- Basic understanding of Git and version control concepts.
- Familiarity with web technologies including HTTP, REST, JSON, and XML.
- Exposure to Java, JavaScript, Python, PowerShell, or similar programming languages.
- Basic knowledge of relational databases and SQL concepts.
- Exposure to API testing tools such as Postman.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn new technologies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Education and Experience Requirements

- Codes and documents software programs in accordance with design specifications.
- Creates unit and integration test plans.
- Performs unit and integration testing.
- Participates in peer code reviews.
- Supports application deployment.
- Proactively identifies opportunities to improve existing methodologies, processes or other areas of application delivery performance. .
- Proactively communicates issues and status as required. .
- Experience with software development methodologies, the software development lifecycle (SDLC), and best practices required.
- Experience working in teams.
- Proficiency with an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) desired.
- Proficiency with MS Office.
- Exercises problem solving and creativity when developing code, to create efficient, reusable software, which results in minimal maintenance. .
- Basic communications (oral and written and interpersonal) skills. Proven ability to develop effective relationships with peers and first level management.
