Engineering team responsible for Hydraulics and Waste and Water across all Gulfstream programs including New Product Development and the current Large Cabin fleet. Candidates will have opportunities in Hydraulics and Waste and Water for all programs.
An engineer on this team will support a wide variety of projects developing and certifying designs with access to Production, Flight Test, and Lab environments.
Preference given to candidates with experience in these areas. All candidates should be driven to learn, contribute, and grow in these areas.
Waste & Water:
- Equipment installations
- Secondary structure including bracketry and minor support structure
- Cabin Coordination – Production installations and systems are heavily connected to cabin systems and requirements
- Flammability
- Component qualification
- Water and Waste System routing and design considerations
- Electrical bonding
Hydraulics:
- Equipment installations
- Secondary structure including bracketry and minor support structure
- Fire Testing requirements and certification
- Component qualification
- Hydraulics routing and design considerations
- Fluid Systems Simulation

Education and Experience Requirements
Job Description
- Provides technical assistance to engineering staff and contributes by completing discrete engineering tasks on schedule .
- Using company procedures, applies engineering knowledge to resolve routine issues .
- Analyzes and evaluates results of project activities .
- Prepares recommendations for changes and compiles necessary reports for various department supervision .
- Recognizes discrepancies and/or problems with analysis/test results and works toward corrective action .
- Actively works to improve daily processes, and ensures all work meets customer requirements .
- Continues learning and developing knowledge of application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in assigned field of expertise .
- The level of technical skills and abilities appropriate for this grade level will be established by each discipline.
- Work is closely supervised/monitored, follows established procedures and methods.
- Failure to achieve results may cause delays in program schedules.
- Ability to convey technical concepts in both written and verbal formats.
- Contacts are primarily with direct supervisor, mentor, and other exempt professionals in the group or department.
