Unique Skills:

This position will supervise an ERP Workstream within the Business Technology team. You will lead a team focused on delivering SAP solutions to our internal Gulfstream customers. This role is focused on equal parts of SAP S/4 technology, functional design of business solutions and mentoring / managing internal team members.  You will work closely with our internal customers to ensure business priorities are being addressed within the ERP solution footprint including strategic projects, small enhancements and "break/fix" items. 

Ideal candidates will be fluent in business processes that are supported within the SAP technology stack. Also, from an SAP functional capability standpoint we are looking for candidates that have a focus in one of these two areas: Finance & Accounting OR  Sales & Distribution. You do not have to have experience in both areas to be considered for this role.


 

 

Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or relevant curriculum required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 8 years years experience as an IT professional with broad experience across multiple IT disciplines which includes four (4) years specific ERP development / deployment experience. Specific and in-depth expertise in one or more complex enterprise applications (e.g. ERP, PLM).

. Master's Degree may be used to offset one (1) year of experience; PhD may offset two (2) years of experience.

Position Purpose:

This is a direct management and technical leadership role within the Gulfstream Business Technology organization for the ERP team. Responsible for team performance by ensuring deliverables are prioritized and delivered to agreed schedule and budget. This role is also responsible for budgeting, hiring / termination, employee development, employee reviews, and project management as required. This technical thought leadership role extends to performing detailed requirements documentation, configuration, testing, and application / business process strategy based on extensive hands on experience.

Job Description

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:
  1. Engages stakeholders and technology users in identifying, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.
  2. Creates plans according to schedules and assignments, and acts independently to carry them out.
  3. Determines goals, timelines, budgets, staffing requirements and allotment of applications resources.
  4. Communicates performance expectations, salary administration, and conducts performance appraisals.
  5. Delegates tasks and/or responsibilities to team members for action according to their level of experience and assigned accountability.
  6. Demonstrated understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies (SDLC).
  7. Ensures applications processes are followed consistently and are in compliance with applicable policies, procedures, standards, etc.
  8. Performs work related to configuring, deploying, maintaining, and upgrading ERP applications and processes. Responsible for tasks related to the development and deployment of systems, methodologies, standards and processes that result in the ability to create and manage the ERP solution.
  9. Provides direct supervision of employees of similar expertise for a large project or a number of small projects.
  10. Works with programming resources (in house and third party) to ensure development work is completed to specifications.
  11. Assists with the development of work breakdown structures, project plans, and skills required. to develop and implement applications.

  2. Conducts briefings and participates in technical meetings concerning specific projects or other activities. .
  3. Ability to lead/facilitate cross-functional teams and meetings. .
