*Position is for 2nd shift 

* Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize requests

* 24/7 availability - managing FAST support and other aircraft maintenance request may be required during assigned after hours and weekends duty

* Excellent communication skills for interactions with high level customers

*Support 24/7 operation based on business requirements


 

 

Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in related field of study required or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.  Aviation experience preferred.. Entry Level. An A&P license, EASA B1/B2 and 4 years of related aircraft experience may off set the degree. A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license preferred. Other FCC certification preferred.

Position Purpose:

Under general supervision, assist with the scheduling of aircraft requirements for the Gulfstream Customer Support enterprise.

Job Description

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:
  1. Identify an aircraft induction plan for service center visits to include resource and capacity planning for all maintenance inspections, interior refurbishment, & avionics upgrades to include major repairs and major alterations.
  2. Record and maintain a master schedule to include managed programs and paint schedules at all GAC and participating Jet Aviation Facilities.
  3. Assist with the coordination of aircraft service visits.
  4. Maintain and continuously audit service center employee rosters, regulatory authorizations, tooling, ground service equipment, manpower availability, and service center resource allocation.
  5. Manage service center schedules and prepare status reports.
  6. Utilize mechanisms for monitoring aircraft schedules and for intervention and problem solving with team members and other stakeholders.
  7. Assist with aircraft and component projects as necessary to ensure the fluid movement of aircraft throughout the entire GAC enterprise.
  8. Perform initial customer account credit checks.
  9. Support customer requirements on schedule changes and communicate upcoming work scope changes with SC operations.
  10. Actively participate in service center operational status meetings to include technical operations, PS sales, managed programs, and any other project meetings necessary to accommodate and coordinate all scheduled/non-scheduled events.
  11. Forecast service center manpower capacity, allocation, availability, capabilities, and facility resource and planning requirements. Audit aircraft model and system specific training requirements, domestic and international regulatory requirements, ground support equipment, and test equipment availability.
  12. Maintain master schedule to include aircraft in all Gulfstream facilities to include projects in-process away from the service centers. Maintain reports and records required. to track all incoming and in-process managed programs.
  13. Communicate service requirements to appropriate groups and provide work groups with work authorization job numbers prior to aircraft arrival.
  14. Assist other support business units as required. with daily resource and capacity reports. Communicate daily with scheduling management to resolve conflicts with SC OPS and Regional Sales teams. Communicate SC capacity and resource changes on a daily basis.
  15. Support AOG and other aircraft maintenance requests during assigned and after hours/weekends duty.
  16. Manage, track, and audit all Gulfstream Programs worldwide to include lead-time, downtime, kit & tooling availability, site authorizations, through-put, and deposit requirements.
  17. Manage SC master paint schedule to include lead-time, downtime, through-put tracking and deposit requirements.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements:
  1. Must be computer literate with some experience working with MS Office Suite. Record keeping &/or data entry experience preferred.
This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
