Lead day-to-day operations for Gulfstream’s social media presence, drafting and publishing brand-aligned content, fostering positive engagement and community interaction across platforms |

Assist Corporate Communications team in sourcing, drafting, reviewing and/or editing content being published externally on behalf of Gulfstream or its representatives |
|
Monitor social media channels daily for comments, messages and mentions |
|
Create and optimize proactive social media listening reports that support various internal stakeholders, tracking emerging conversations and impact |
|
Closely monitor relevant social media trends, hashtags, conversations and incoming engagement, identifying opportunities for content creation and real-time engagement |
|
Analyze and archive corporate communications metrics, compiling reports and executive summaries that assess effectiveness and impact |
|
Support efforts to generate online social media coverage of company communications as needed, including but not limited to: press releases, video scripts, talking points, presentations, etc. |
|
Serve as social media copyright violation case manager, corresponding with corporate trademark and legal teams on takedown requests |
|
Be flexible and reachable in the event of a crisis should they arise outside of work hours/on weekends |
|
Social media channel management: Expertise contributing to brand social media accounts in a professional environment; understanding of social platform best practices, brand safety and content compliance
Writing and editing: Creative copywriting, strong command of proofreading and copy-editing; familiarity with AP style; comfortable synthesizing complex information for a broad audience
Creative: Intermediate graphic design and content layout proficiency; active consumer of social media content trends and knowledge of best practices
Digital: Experience working with social media management/scheduling tools preferred (Brandwatch, Hootsuite, Sprout, etc.); Intermediate proficiency using the Adobe Creative Suite required (Photoshop, Premier, Illustrator); in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Organization and attention to detail: Comfortable collaborating across a large enterprise, communicating effectively and confidently to source assets and information for Corporate Communications content development; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; strong collaboration. |

Job Description
- Create communications materials (news releases, media advisories, talking points, media responses, etc.) that support the company’s worldwide media strategy, securing approval of materials from subject matter experts as well as communications and marketing leadership.
- Create, maintain and back up media lists.
- Respond to requests for photos from media, vetting requests (as required) with Communications leadership and evaluating metrics to ensure relevance and suitable of available materials to ensure quality coverage.
- Monitor and log overall company media coverage, with emphasis on earned media mentions following major events. Calculate value of impressions.
- Compile a daily report of articles relevant to Gulfstream’s leadership.
- Serve as communications liaison to one or more departments, providing communications guidance and services to those departments, with the supervision and assistance of the director and/or other senior communications personnel .
- Collaborate with other Gulfstream teams, including Marketing Communications, Sales, Product Support, Public Affairs, Community Investments, etc.
- Excellent writing, editing and speaking skills.
- Ability to take complex technical information and translate it into interesting yet straight-forward content suitable for use by media and key influencers.
- Proven performance working under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
