CS Sales Spec Group Lead in  GAC Savannah or other offsite Gulfstream locations.  


Unique Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the installation and modification of interiors in Gulfstream aircraft
  • Demonstrated knowledge of quoting and estimating processes related to Gulfstream interior installations and modifications
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and cross-functional teams

  • Experience prioritizing workload, coordinating team activities, and ensuring accuracy and consistency in outputs

Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 8 years in A/C sales, design, mfg or service and support, to include 5 years program management experience consisting of any combination of supervisory experience, complex program management, and/or technical experience.

Position Purpose:

Provide leadership and technical knowledge to the product support sales team by managing the generation of accurate and timely quotations for all models of Gulfstream aircraft with an emphasis on the usage of standard products and tools. Support direct reports and work closely with all worldwide Product Support business units to assist in closing sales and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Job Description

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:
  1. Provide guidance and assistance to direct reports to resolve any issues in order to consistently provide our customer with a complete, accurate and competitive proposal.
  2. Lead discipline groups to coordinate and host meetings, resolve issues and promote teamwork.
  3. Ability to act as delegated authority during direct manager's absence and perform management duties as required.
  4. Ensure standard product offerings are identified, submitted, maintained, and/or implemented into the daily quoting activities.
  5. Work closely with the sales team and new business development to identify and promote new programs to be offered to the marketplace.
  6. Coordinate closely with all site management to represent the Sales Operations department in a professional manner and collaborate with other departments to improve overall business teamwork and cooperation. Work closely with site VP/General Managers to ensure a positive business rapport between the Sales Operations department and all other internal support groups.
  7. Work closely with the worldwide PS Regional Sales Team including Sales Directors to maintain a professional relationship between all team members. Resolve any issues regarding this relationship in a timely manner.
  8. Ensure all Gulfstream quoting processes, procedures and guidelines are adhered to.
  9. Travel as required. to support direct reports or other projects as defined.
  10. Lead projects that will improve the quoting and sales process.
  11. Keep up to date on inspection requirements, aircraft installations/modifications, FAA regulatory issues, latest vendor products and certification requirements in order to facilitate accurate product offerings.
  12. Manage numerous complex projects simultaneously at any given time while maintaining quality and consistency.
  13. Work with the Specialty Sales Managers (Avionics and/or Interior Specialists) to develop new programs to maintain our competitive edge. Work to maintain consistency between all site quotation groups when compiling proposals for new programs .

Additional Functions:
  1. Work with Facility Management and Sales Management to improve business processes. .
  2. Attend Trade Shows, other OEM seminars, etc. to stay abreast of the industry. .
  3. Work overtime as required. by volume of workload or travel requirements. .

Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements:
  1. Must be computer literate and proficient.
  2. Pilot's license and/or A&P license certification is preferred.
  3. Basic selling and negotiating skills are essential along with a professional demeanor.
  4. Must demonstrate an understanding of strategic priorities, understand financial data, and be able to analyze and solve problems.
This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
