Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's Degree related field required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 2 years progressively responsible related HR experience.

Position Purpose:

Under general supervision, supports the development and implementation of sound corporate wage and salary programs through the completion of salary surveys, organizational reviews, data analysis and job evaluation to ensure internal and external equity and fair and equitable implementation of compensation programs corporate wide. Ensures the consistent application of compensation processes, standards, concepts and techniques. Applies continuous improvement initiatives to support the overall business strategy.

Job Description

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:
  1. Coordinates with Compensation Manager on administration of Company incentive programs, pay increase plan and stock options processes and procedures.
  2. Participates in industry or other wage and salary surveys. Analyzes and interprets results, applying information to compensation planning. May conduct small ad-hoc surveys and custom surveys as required.
  3. Ensures an internal job evaluation process is followed for an equitable position grading. Assists management with writing and updating position descriptions for nonexempt, exempt and executive level positions. .
  4. Ensures compliance with established compensation guidelines and policies. Audits compliance for adherence to established policies. Reviews and recommends changes to compensation related policies. Develops and applies consistent interpretation of these policies to advise and assist departments.
  5. Analyzes Company salary administration plan by reviewing compatibility with market conditions and effect on internal equity. Reports results to management. .
  6. Utilizes market/survey data to establish competitive offers and facilitate recruiting. Evaluates trends and practices.
  7. Supports the development of domestic and international annual pay increase budget and guidelines.
  8. Coordinates, develops, and assists in the completion of special projects, studies, and new programs. Conducts special studies and prepares reports which include recommendations for long range compensation administration and planning and for use in management presentations.
  9. Prepares and presents compensation communications that explains offering of a competitive compensation program and strengthens our ability to be an employer of choice.
  10. Establishes and maintains favorable working relationships within all Gulfstream departments to assist in effectively achieving department objectives.

Additional Functions:
  1. Visits various work sites to observe job functions and working conditions in conjunction with job evaluation process. .

Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements:
  1. Requires strong quantitative analysis, verbal and written skills.
  2. High degree of competence in PC applications, such as Excel and Microsoft Word, required.
