As an Aircraft Part Sales Support Specialist 2 – Weekend Nights, you will support domestic and international aircraft parts sales by ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely order processing. This role plays a key part in customer satisfaction by serving as a knowledgeable point of contact for parts availability, order status, and issue resolution during weekend operations.

 

What You Will Do

  • Process domestic and international aircraft parts sales orders in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures.
  • Prepare and manage formal quotes, order processing, financial status verification, export compliance checks, and certification requirements (FAA, EASA, CAAC, and others).
  • Serve as a direct customer contact for in‑stock part shipments and order status updates.
  • Coordinate with expeditors to ensure seamless handling of out‑of‑stock orders.
  • Determine warranty, AOS, or PlaneParts applicability for each transaction and ensure proper material and cost allocation.
  • Support rental transactions, including bailment agreements and rental terms, as required.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships while researching and resolving issues, complaints, or disputes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support STC, ASC/CB/SB, Managed Programs, Government Programs, Simulators, and other special initiatives.
  • Provide international order processing support as needed, ensuring all requirements are met.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Part Sales Support organization.

 

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2 years of relevant experience required.
  • Working knowledge of customer service processes related to parts shipping and logistics preferred.
  • Experience with Corridor, SAP, or other integrated operating platforms desired.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • High level of computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Corridor system experience preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Ability to support a weekend night shift schedule.

Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related curriculum or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 2 years relevant experience required.

Position Purpose:

Under minimal supervision, perform the activities associated with Part Sales Support domestic order processing, to include international order processing as needed. Ensure orders are processed in accordance with established regulatory guidelines. Responsible for intelligent use of material at global stocking locations. Responsible for customer Warranty, AOS or PlaneParts determination. Research and resolve customer problems, issues or complaints.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:
  1. Process domestic or international parts sales orders through effective decision-making, to ensure orders are processed in accordance with regulatory guidelines and adhere to identified processes and procedures.
  2. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of domestic and international parts order processing requirements and procedures.
  3. Process customer requirements to include formal quotes, order processing, financial status, export compliance checks and Quality/Certification requirements including but not limited to FAA, EASA, CAAC.
  4. Responsible for direct customer contact on in-stock part shipments.
  5. Liaise with expeditors to ensure seamless and transparent turnover of all out of stock orders.
  6. Determine Warranty, AOS or PlaneParts applicability for each customer order transaction. Direct material and cost to proper accounts. Participate in the rental process to include bailment agreements and rental terms, as required.
  7. Establish and maintain strong customer relationships at all levels. Research and assist in ensuring prompt resolution to issues, complaints and/or disputes.
  8. Communicate with other functional areas to support STC, ASC/CB/SB, Managed Programs, Government Programs, Simulators and any other special programs as required.
  9. Provide support for international order processing as required, ensuring all applicable requirements are met.

Additional Functions:
  1. Support continuous improvement efforts within the Part Sales Support organization. .

Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements:
  1. Working knowledge of associated processes in relation to customer service and parts shipping and logistics preferred.
  2. Experience with Corridor, SAP or other integrated operating platform desired.
  3. Ability to communicate effectively and confidently.
  4. High level of computer literacy including Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
