Job Description
- Ensure accurate and meaningful communication flow between leadership and team to ensure alignment .
- Delivery timely Progressive Counseling when necessary to maintain safety, compliance, & appropriate behavior amongst team .
- Conduct regular contribution and development discussions (end-of-year and 1:1) and supports development investment for all team members .
- Establish & cascade departmental goals aligned with organizational goals .
- Ensures all work is completed in an efficient and timely manner that prioritizes requirements for safety and quality at the highest level .
- Responsible for the Compls outfitting of the aircraft to ensure all applicable ASCs, ADs, SBs & GAC Quality Alerts are complied with prior to delivery .
- Ensure Aircraft is complete & ready for delivery process to include but not limited to Exterior Paint inspection, Ground inspection and Customer Acceptance flight(s) .
- Establishes key delivery milestones & requirements for timely delivery & successful Entry-into-Service .
- Lead company Cold Soak test flights to ensure compliance with the Buyer-Approved Completion Package and fit, finish and functionality are in accordance with regulatory requirements and GAC standard for quality .
- Participate in customer delivery ceremony for owner (L1) & assigned team to create & commemorate exceptional completion and delivery experience .
- Provides GAC Sr management with formal continuous communication for each assigned compls project .
- Develop and execute business unit strategic plans to ensure budget, product cost, productivity, inventory levels, delivery performance and quality objectives/expectations and operational goals are met throughout dept(s) .
- Develops, maintains, and meets or exceeds requirements for a safe work environment; ensure stringent housekeeping, 5S standards, EHS requirements, and safety procedures and practices are followed; ensure tools/equipment meet safety requirements; lead trend and root cause analysis and accident investigations .
- Current working knowledge of applicable FAA, EASA, CAAC and other civil aviation authority regulations & certification requirements; familiarity with international certification requirements as applicable to aircraft outfitting .
- Models and reinforces safety and quality as priority .
- Execute pay planning for team .
- Hires and onboards new team members to support overall success in organization .
- Excellent computer skills in Microsoft applications.
- Able to support customer needs during normal working hours & after (nights weekends and holidays).
