Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's Degree Computer Science required. 3 years of experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

Position Purpose:

Creates automated test assets (test scripts, cases, models, and frameworks) using the Eggplant test tools, Selenium (WebDriver) and Digital Automation Intelligence. Create Performance tests (load tests, volume testing and stress testing) using eggplant performance tools.

Job Description

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:
  1. Under general supervision, assists with development and establishment of quality assurance standards, procedures, and measures for the automation of information technology services .
  2. Assists with gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and system requirements, which includes writing test plans and scripts for tracking defects and fixes in product development, software application development, information systems, and operations systems .
  3. Helps validate IT processes through careful testing to maximize the benefit of business investments in IT initiatives .
  4. 1+ years of experience of Automation processes .
  5. Comprehensive knowledge of, and experience in, the use of Test management tools and test Automation frameworks .
  6. Able to validate the effectiveness and relevance of the test assets they create against a defined test plan .
  7. Able to build test assets concurrently for different customers and projects, managing their own time and meeting delivery deadlines .
  8. Understand common end-to-end user workflows of the applications as they build test assets .
  9. Have an understanding in one or more modern programming languages including Java, Python, or similar languages .
  10. Knowledge of IT system environments/platforms and development tools .
  11. Development frameworks such as waterfall and scrum/agile .
  12. Experience working both independently and, in a team-oriented, collaborative environment .
  13. Excellent planning, time management and organization skills .
  14. Professional experience in quality assurance software testing as part of the development process.

  1. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and provide solutions .

Other Requirements:
  1. Knowledge of object oriented programming languages such as C#, C++ and Java.
  2. Knowledge of Selenium and automation of Web applications.
  3. Experience on model-based automation testing.
  4. Experience on Mobile applications testing with Appium and image-based test scripts.
  5. Knowledge of Performance, load, volumne and stress testing, including VUs configuration.
