Industrial Engineer

Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's Degree Industrial Engineering. Bachelor's Degree Mechanical Engineering. 4 years of experience in industrial engineering or manufacturing processes.

Position Purpose:

Proposals for changes in layout and / or new process. Apply and implement lean manufacturing techniques on the continuous improvement projects. Safety and ergonomics analysis to all process. Follow internal and external quality standards. Analyze and optimize manufacturing process. Coordinate equipment delivery to production. Analysis activities for customer satisfaction.

Job Description

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

1. Blueprint Reading (electrical or structural) .
2. Domain of Computer skills (Microsoft Office, Windows environment, packaging Office and Visual Basic, Lotus notes, Microsoft Project, CAS Software and Solumina) .
3. Problem Solving Skills .
4. Management simulation software (Delmia Quest, Delmia Human, iGrafx, e-tools, preferably Pro Timer) .
5. Design Management software (Catia V5) .
6. Project Management Skills .
7. Customer service attitude .

Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements:

1. U.S. visa (passport).
2. Experience in interpretation of specifications.
3. English spoken and written (85% advanced).
4. Schedule Flexibility.
