Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's Degree Industrial Engineering. Bachelor's Degree Mechanical Engineering. 2 years of experience in a leadership role and 10 years of experience in maintenance.

Position Purpose:

Plans, directs, manages and coordinates the group of Equipment and Building Maintenance to ensure the achievement of the indicators of the department and have the equipment available to fulfill production targets, with quality and a continuous production workflow.

Job Description

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

1. Manages continuous improvement projects to achieve compliance with departmental metrics .
2. Develops and manages the budget, determines staffing requirements, and manages the department.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements:

1. Blue print reading (Electrical, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Architectural).
2. Machines and Equipment.
3. Project Administration.
4. TPM.
5. Lean & Six Sigma.
6. Sustainability Projects.
7. Reliability.
8. 3 years of experience in similar processes of equipment and building maintenance.
9. Communication, teamwork and results focus.
10. Logical thinking for the resolution of problems, identifying quickly the root cause.
11. Decisions making.
12. Effective resolution of conflicts.
13. Personnel Development.
14. Ability in the administration and coordination of projects.
15. Capable of being analytical and presentation of statistics and results.
16. Excellent abilities verbal and written communication.
