Import & export compliance knowledge. In depth understanding fo HTS classification. Interpersonal relationships, Understanding and application of UK customs regulations, understandinf CBAM. AEO implementation experience 


 

 

Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in business or related field preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. experience in trade compliance.

Position Purpose:

Supporting the Senior Compliance Officer, manage, develop and integrate day to day Trade Compliance matters within Gulfstream. Take ownership of compliance at a daily level within the Farnborough office and provide effective management to two members of staff

Job Description

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:
  1. Integration of brokers into the business and management of broker relationships .
  2. Management of the IPR programme. Ensuring existing programme is maximized and compliant.
  3. Compliance checks on all entries. Establishing and maintaining a system of checks .
  4. Ownership of HTS codes in the UK. Regular checks on accuracy and ensuring all gaps are closed .
  5. ECCN and export control management. Working with relevant teams to ensure correct export classification .
  6. Support on implementation of CBAM in UK .
  7. General support to Senior Compliance Officer .

Additional Functions:
  1. Additional functions will be dictated by the specific responsibilities of the position. .

Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements:
  1. Ability to effectively learn and operate within Gulfstream enterprise systems, web-based applications and 3rd party productivity software, including, but not limited to: SAP, GTS, CAS, Corridor, Oracle, Sales Logix, Livelink, P-DocM, Cognos, SmarTeam, Visual Compliance, CMP.Net , Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Projects, IPC, Adobe suite.
  2. Excellent understanding of all relevant Customs regulations.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  4. Applicant must demonstrate organizational and critical thinking skill.
