Customer Operational Readiness Representative - Experience on the G280 and G600 in  GAC Dallas

Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Aviation Maintenance, Engineering, or related curriculum required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 7 years experience in aviation maintenance, in either a maintenance support or operations capacity, to include 3 years direct hands-on experience on the specific Gulfstream model(s) for which the COR Representative is assigned to support.

Position Purpose:

The Customer Operational Readiness (COR) Representative supports all model aircraft, both new and pre-owned, during final outfitting and delivery and for the first 10 days in service. The COR Representative will support in any manner necessary to ensure the aircraft operates properly, safely and to the customer's expectations. Train customers, as well as train and support the COR team on proper operations and maintenance of all aircraft models, to include all airframe systems, outfitting and interior systems, engine and APU systems and avionic / electrical systems. Responsible for ensuring the entry into service experience for the customer is smooth, educational and beneficial in all regards. The COR Representative also supports the customer in diagnosing and resolving technical problems with the aircraft.

Job Description

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:
  1. Support deliveries of all models through domestic and international travel.
  2. Assist COR Management with scheduling functions as necessary.
  3. Train and mentor new COR team members to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness within the organization.
  4. Carry out any special product support assignments to aid the company in maintaining industry standard customer satisfaction.
  5. Maintain effective communications through which technical information related to maintenance and operational problems is shared with all support group personnel (this being, but not limited to; Tech.Ops, Service and Completions Engineering, Reliability, Maintainability, Spares, Field Based Reps., CMP, Service Center and Completion Center) and customers.
  6. Keep current on Gulfstream Product Support, which includes: Service Centers, Warranty Facilities, F.A.S.T. Support, Product Support Sales, and Gulfstream policy changes affecting the customer’s operations.
  7. Assist with Customer Operational Readiness Evaluation (CORE) when required.

Additional Functions:
  1. Perform interim duties and additional functions as Field Service Representative as and when required. .
  2. Assist in development of new and improved departmental policies and procedures. .

Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements:
  1. FAA Airframe and Powerplant License preferred.
  2. An A&P license and four (4) years of aviation maintenance experience in addition to the current experience requirements may offset the Bachelor’s degree.
  3. Formal training in the Gulfstream product line maintenance procedures and practices preferred. to include Flight Safety Maintenance Initial training for all current Gulfstream models.
  4. Knowledge of all Gulfstream support departments (including but not limited to: Spares, Warranty, Publications, Technical Services, Service Centers, Warranty Facilities and Field Service).
  5. Experience as technician or mechanic at a Gulfstream or Gulfstream approved warranty facility preferred.
  6. Capable of frequent domestic and international travel, often on short notice.
  7. Strong computer skills for reporting purposes and for maintenance diagnostic purposes.
