Systems Safety Engineer - TS II in GAC Savannah

Required Applicant shall have the ability to work on complex and multidisciplinary problems and provide solutions that are highly innovative and ingenious. Applicant shall be able to demonstrate: Knowledge of System Safety Engineering analysis techniques and processes, including but not limited to, functional hazard assessment (FHA), system safety assessment (SSA) and particular risk assessment (PRA) from initial requirement through requirement verification.
Applicant will have:
- Understanding of aerodynamics, airplane systems and typical systems and equipment designs.
- Knowledge of 14 CFR Part 25 certification, ARP4754A, and ARP4761 System Safety Engineering analysis techniques and processes, including but not limited to, functional hazard assessment (FHA) and system safety assessment (SSA) from initial requirement definition through requirement verification.
- Knowledge of fault tree analysis and failure mode effect analysis.
- Knowledge of common cause analysis, including particular risk assessment, common mode analysis and zonal safety analysis.
- Knowledge of specific risk analysis methodology and its application.
- Knowledge of Validation and Verification activities for system design and software development
