QC Inspect II in GAC Savannah
Unique Skills:
Proficient in Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation (GAC) CATIA, blueprint reading and interpretation, GAC work instructions, technical specifications, and the Repair Station Quality Assurance Manual.
Demonstrated ability to effectively use all job-related tools, equipment, and inspection devices.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Capable of accurately interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
This position provides day-shift coverage for Completions Paint Shop in-process inspection activities and requires frequent interaction with Completions Paint personnel, engineering, and quality teams to ensure compliance with approved processes and specifications.
The selected candidate must be eligible for and obtain a Repairman Certificate appropriate to the Repair Station activities they are assigned to inspect and approve.
Must maintain qualifications and certifications required to perform inspection duties in accordance with GAC procedures, Repair Station requirements, and applicable FAA regulations.

High School Diploma or GED required. 3 years quality inspection experience required. 5 years manufacturing experience or equivalent aerospace experience preferred.. Other Formal Inspection Training Program 90 Days required.
Position Purpose:
In a team oriented environment, perform all tasks in Initial Phase Manufacturing, Composites, or Final Phase in a timely and efficient manner to ensure aircraft parts, sub-assemblies, major assemblies, and installations are built to type design data.
