Join Gulfstream’s Airframe Structural Design Engineering team and help transform engineering concepts into the parts and assemblies that define our large-cabin aircraft. You’ll use 3D CAD, engineering fundamentals, and hands-on problem-solving to develop designs that are ready for manufacturing and support them as they move from digital definition to the aircraft.
As an Aircraft Structural Design Engineer 2, you will help develop and sustain the structural definition of Gulfstream aircraft, supporting new product development and improvements to the existing fleet.
You will define the form, fit, and function of airframe parts and assemblies, integrate systems, and select appropriate materials, processes, and finishes. Your work will support manufacturing, service teams, and customers with safe, efficient, high-quality designs that are manufacturing-ready, on schedule, and within budget.
At Gulfstream, structural design connects engineering decisions directly to the aircraft we build and support. You’ll work across engineering, manufacturing, programs, suppliers, and customer support, giving you the opportunity to see how structural designs come together throughout the aircraft development and build process.
You’ll contribute to Gulfstream aircraft while developing your expertise through meaningful engineering challenges and a shared commitment to quality, craftsmanship, innovation, continuous improvement, and the customer.
